Extended an existing mobile app with announcement and notification capabilities — mobile feature work alongside server endpoints and data integration to connect on-site field updates to users.
Challenge
End users had no reliable way to receive updates about scheduled works and on-site activity. Field teams were recording changes on the ground, but that information was not reaching the app in time.
Approach
We enhanced the existing mobile application with the new in-app feature, and in parallel built the server endpoints and integration layer to ingest field updates and sync them through to app users.
Outcome
The feature ships in the production app with a dedicated server layer handling ingestion and sync. Operational updates from the field reach users directly — without manual relay through management or offline notice channels.
